Maison Louis is a dream born from thread and silence.
A Parisian creative house with a singular signature, founded on craftsmanship, creativity, and eco-responsibility.
Sewing gives me peace. It brings me back to the gesture, to the place where thought fades away. Each piece is handcrafted in my Paris studio, in very limited series, using techniques inspired by traditional tailoring. The seam allowances are intentionally generous so that the garment can evolve with the body and endure over time.
I love garments that reveal themselves slowly: a discreet pleat, a hidden handstitch, a detail waiting to be noticed. I play with shapes, disrupt symmetry, and draw inspiration from surrealism and organic lines — from what escapes logic. These pieces are not simple basics; they become a medium of expression, a way to affirm who you are.
I leave visible the handstitchs, the basting threads that are usually removed. I keep them. They are the memory of the work, the thread of construction deliberately revealed.
Rooted in a slow fashion approach, Maison Louis exclusively uses upcycled materials sourced from dormant stocks of luxury houses.
No factories, no outsourcing: only the time of the gesture, the material, and the desire to create differently.
